Galway 2-22 Kilkenny 2-08
Galway qualified for the All-Ireland Junior final with a well merited win over Kilkenny in Nowlan Park and will now face Kerry in the final, the winners lead at the break by 2-12 to 1-3 and in truth is was done and dusted by then, and the Tribesmen will face a tougher challenge in the final against the ‘Kingdom ‘who have won the last three All-Irelands beating Mayo twice and Meath while Galway will have to go back to 1985 when they overcame Warwickshire in the final after beating Kerry after a replay in the home final.
