Dancing Like a Star Stateside

Galway GAA’s highly anticipated ‘Dancing Like a Star – Stateside’ is only days away!

It takes place in the Hammerstein Ballroom ( 311 W 34th St., New York, NY 10001, United States) on Saturday, April 5th, 2025 at 7.00PM

The Hammerstein ballroom is an iconic venue on three levels with 16 bars and we look forward to making this the place to be for all Galway GAA supporters next Saturday night.

18  fantastic couples from Galway, New York, Chicago, Boston and San Francisco  will take to the stage, each have been put through their paces and put great work into their dancing and fundraising efforts for club and county.

This is a two and a half hour show culminating in a €25,000 prize for the winning couple that will go to their nominated clubs.
Below is a list of the nominated clubs who are in line for the top prize:

Annaghdown, Ballindereen, Carnmore, Claregalway, Dunmore MacHales, Glinsk, Headford,  Kilkerrin Clonberne, Killererin, Oranmore Maree, Padraig Pearses, Salthill/Knocknacarra, St. Gabriels, St. Thomas’ and Tuam Stars.

The event will be hosted by Ollie Turner with a celebrity judging panel of Laura Fox, Aidan O’Mahony, Laura Nolan, Joe Connolly and Tommy Smyth.
