Job Vacancy – Administrator Galway GAA

Cumann Lúthchleas Gael (GAA) is Ireland’s premier sporting and cultural organization, with over

Role Profile
We are looking for an Administrator to join our Galway team and provide accounting and
administrative support while ensuring the smooth running of the office on a day-to-day basis.

Location: Galway GAA Office, Pearse Stadium.
Reporting to: Finance & Operations Manager
Responsibilities
• Processing invoices for the Accounts Payable/Receivable function.
• Preparing and recording receipts for lodgement to the bank.
• Reconciling control accounts monthly basis.
• Reconcile bank statements and financial records to maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts.
• Maintain organised and precise financial documentation and records.
• Assisting with the month end and year end processes to ensure the accurate reports are
available for presentation.
• Perform general administrative duties related to the finance department as required.

Requirements
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in an accounting role.
• Third Level qualification in Accounting, Finance or related area.
• Strong IT skills and experience with Microsoft Office e.g. Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Excellent administrative and organisation skills.
• Knowledge and experience of accounts packages.
• Ability to work independently or on own initiative.
• Experience in the preparation and delivery of reports and presentations to a high standard.
• Excellent communication and relationship skills.
