Presentation College Athenry won the Connacht Post Primary Schools Senior A Hurling Title for the 9th time in the school’s history when defeating Gort Community School on a scoreline of 2-19 to 1-08. They now go on to play the All-Ireland Semi Final on the 19th March against either Midleton CBS or Kilkenny CBS.

Senior & Intermediate Football Championship Draws 2018




Cyril Donnellan (CLG Padraig Pearses) has announced his retirement from Inter-County Hurling after ten years of sterling service.
Cyril played his first game for the Galway Senior Hurlers in 2008 and in 35 Championship appearances scored 6-33. With the County he won 2 Lenister Senior Hurling Championship titles, 2 National Leagues and ends his days in the Maroon and White Jersey having reached hurling’s pinnacle with the All-Ireland Hurling Championship title this year.
On behalf of the Galway Senior Hurling Management Team, the Players and all Tribesmen Supporters at home and abroad I offer our sincerest gratitude and Thanks to Cyril for his dedication and commitment to Galway GAA and I wish him every success in the future.
