Thomas Kelly R.I.P. (Eyrecourt GAA)

Thomas (Tommy) Kelly, who died recently aged 84, was a regular member of the Galway hurling team in the 1950s.A native of Eyrecourt, he learned his hurling skills in the local national school and down in the ‘lawn’ with his friends and great hurling colleagues Billy Duffy, Joe Salmon and Fintan Spillane.He won a County Junior Hurling medal with Eyrecourt in 1953. Ladies raise funds to highlight depression
